ITS United Kingdom signs Memorandum of Understanding with ITS Australia
ITS United Kingdom, the Intelligent Transport Systems society for the UK, took the opportunity of the Australian Intelligent Transport Systems Summit 2009 in Melbourne, to strengthen its relationship with ITS Australia through signing a Memorandum of Understanding.
The MoU was signed by Jeremy Evans, Vice Chair of ITS United Kingdom and Head of Technology Delivery at Transport for London, and Norm Pidgeon, President of ITS Australia.
The MoU provides for the exchange of information between the two associations and their members, and will enable both organisations to provide a better service to their individual members. The close relationship between ITS United Kingdom and ITS Australia will be further strengthened by face-to-face meetings at each World Congress, next in October 2010 in South Korea.
