ITS United Kingdom unveils new look web site

ITS United Kingdom, the Intelligent Transport Society for the United Kingdom, has given its web site a complete new design.
The ITS (UK) web site has always had to multi-task: providing general information about intelligent transport systems, acting as the first point of contact for organisations considering becoming members of the Society, and, in the pass-word protected area, providing a wide range of information and documentation for members’ use. The new design provides all these functions, and does so in an attractive and up-to-date way.
ITS (UK) was fortunate to secure the assistance of ITS (UK) Foundation Members IBI who designed and built the new site. IBI have produced several of the UK’s public sector transport web sites.
Jennie Martin, Secretary General of ITS (UK) says: “Our website is crucial to our profile among ITS professionals, both in the UK and abroad. The members-only area also functions as a library and information point for our members at all times and wherever their work takes them. It was a pleasure to work with IBI on the site renewal, since they have been active within ITS (UK) for many years and fully understand the services we provide to our members.”
Mario Bozzo of IBI says: “The website redesign represents one of our corporate responsibility initiatives this year contributing to the ITS industry and ITS (UK) specifically means a lot to us. We have used the opportunity to have our young talent exposed to the work of ITS (UK). “
